Strange Views
A Street Photography Project
Strange Views is an examination of American landscapes, both urban and rural, and the odd pockets within them. Turn a corner, or go down a dirt road and you may find one. They’re in national parks or skyscrapers, parking lots and shop windows. They’re both eerie and beautiful, but that ratio may change the longer you look.
These images were taken in Pittsburgh, Niagara Falls, Toronto and Detroit in 2024. They were shot on Kodak Ultramax and Illford HP5 with an Olympus OM1.
